These terms cover this website and the work and parts we provide at the shop. By booking work, buying parts or using this site, you agree to them.

01About this site

This website is published by Maupin Metalworks & Performance, LLC of Greeley, Colorado. The content is here for general information about the shop and the work it does. We keep it accurate and current as best we can, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete at all times.

02Quotes and pricing

Nothing on this site is an offer or a fixed price. Vehicle work is quoted individually, because the parts, the condition of the vehicle and the scope all change what the job takes. Some work is flat rate and larger projects are billed hourly.

Any figure mentioned on this site, including one described in a customer review, belongs to that one vehicle and that one job. It does not carry over to yours. Ask for a quote and you get a number for your vehicle before work starts.

A quote is based on what we can see before the work starts. If we find something else once the vehicle is apart, we stop and check with you before doing anything extra.

03Approving work

We do not start work on your vehicle until you have approved it, in person, by phone, by text or by email. The same goes for any extra work we find along the way.

04Parts

Unless you ask for a particular brand, we choose parts based on what suits the job and your budget. If you want a specific brand or factory (OE) parts, the price can differ from the original quote.

If you supply your own parts, we fit them at your risk. We cannot vouch for their quality, and labor to replace one that fails is charged at our normal rate.

05Timing

Completion dates are our best estimate, not a guarantee. Parts delays, extra work found during the job and the shop schedule can all move them, and we will keep you posted if they do.

06Payment

Payment is due when the work is finished, before the vehicle leaves the shop. Special-order and custom parts may need a deposit, which cannot be refunded once the parts have been ordered. Colorado sales tax is added where it applies.

07Collecting your vehicle

Please collect your vehicle within five business days of us letting you know it is ready. After that, a storage fee may apply.

08Returning parts

Parts you buy from us can be returned within 30 days if they are unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging with all hardware and paperwork. Check with us before bringing a part back so we can confirm the return.

Installed parts, special-order or custom parts, opened electrical and fuel system parts, tuning products and unwrapped exhaust systems cannot be returned. A restocking fee may apply to some returns, and we will tell you before you bring anything back.

09Warranty

Parts are covered by their manufacturer's warranty. Our Warranty page explains how that works and how to make a claim.

10Content and images

The text, photographs and build images on this site belong to Maupin Metalworks and Performance LLC unless stated otherwise. Do not copy or republish them for commercial use without written permission. Product and brand names shown on parts belong to their respective owners and appear here only to describe work we have done.

11Links to other sites

This site links out to other places, including our social media pages. Those sites are not under our control and a link is not an endorsement of anything on them.

12Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or knock-on losses connected with this website or our work, such as towing, a rental vehicle, time off work or lost income. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the part or service involved.

13Sorting out a problem

If something is not right, talk to us first. Most problems are sorted with a phone call or a visit to the shop. We reply to written complaints within ten business days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the site and the shop change. The date shown at the top of this page tells you when they were last revised. Using the site or booking work after a revision means you accept the version published here.

15Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States. Any dispute we cannot settle between us will be handled by the courts of Weld County, Colorado.
